The company was acquired by Fostoria Glass in 1965 and ceased operations in 1971.Anchor Hocking Glass Company, established in 1905, became a prominent name in American glassware. Initially producing glass containers, it expanded into household items like dinnerware and bakeware. During World War II, Anchor Hocking supplied the military with mess kits and signal lenses. Post-war, it resumed consumer goods production, gaining fame for its iconic glass measuring cups and Fire-King glassware. Today, it continues to produce a wide range of glass products for both everyday and special occasions.
