The Joy of Cocktails Community
Welcome to The Joy of Cocktails!
Our purpose is to introduce a new generation of home bar enthusiasts to the joy of collecting antique, vintage and MCM glassware.
Today, from bar carts in the corder of a living room to basement man caves, from garden pub sheds to interior designer creations in new homes, a home bar has become a feature of home entertainment.
One of the easiest ways to enhance the home bar experience, from the design of the bar to the cocktails themselves, is through the collection and use of antique, vintage and MCM glass barware.
Every glass has a story, from the time period its from to the craftsmanship of bygone eras.
Our goal is to build a community of home bar enthusiasts who are interested in building glassware collections for their home bars. Whether you have a sports-centric Man Cave, a tropical themed Tiki Hut or a swanky Hollywood Regency speakeasy, we want you to feel home in our community.
What you can expect to see, moving forward:
- Ongoing updates to the product catalog
- Announcements of "drops" of rare, hard-to-find glassware
- Private online groups (either Patreon or Facebook) for The Joy of Cocktails community to share, network and bond with each other
- Video content, ranging from matching cocktails to glassware, to podcast interviews with Home Bar builders, interior designers and craft cocktail personalities
- Meet ups, starting in the Seattle Area
- Physical locations in Seattle Area antique malls
- Beverage, bar, hospitality brand collaborations
- And more ...
Thanks, and feel free to reach out to me to discuss the realm of possibilities.
And lastly, we are acquiring glassware so if you have your parents or grandparents glassware and are unsure what to do with it, we may be interested in it.
