A Two-Toned Showstopper for Wine - 1 Set of 2 Trios
This is a selection of 6 glasses total, 2 each of 3 different sizes, including Champagne, Wine and Water.
Dramatic amethyst meets a soft pink stem in this unmistakable Blossom Plum wine glass. Under warm light, the plum bowl glows richly while the pale stem keeps the look elegant rather than heavy. Its tapered, trumpet silhouette and subtle optic swirl place it squarely in the 1970s, when boutique department stores sold statement stemware for dress-up dinners. Now long discontinued, Blossom Plum appeals to collectors who want something distinctive, not generic. Each glass is hand-made, with natural variations in height, foot, and bowl—quiet proof that no two are exactly alike.
SUGGESTED USES:
- Wine
- Fancy Cocktails
- Martinis
- Manhattans

About the Maker
Founded in 1948 by George Aratani in California, Mikasa began as an importer of fine dinnerware and tabletop goods. The Mikasa brand was introduced in 1957 and grew rapidly during the postwar entertaining boom. Rather than manufacturing, Mikasa sourced stylish glassware and china from Europe and Asia, marketing them through high-end department stores and wedding registries. Its success came from pairing fashionable design with aspirational, department-store prestige.
