Condition Notes
Previous owned, used. No chips, no cracks, nor cloudiness. Barely any signs of scuffs or scratches on the base. The glasses have little sign of wear and the gold is remarkably intact, a sign that these were barely, if ever, used. There are manufacturing marks, such as errant application of the gold, and some small nicks in the gold here and there on each glass. These marks tend to be common in Culver gold gilt glassware, even for glassware seldom to never used. Please study the photos for further reference.

About the Maker
Culver Glass Company, founded in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg in Brooklyn, New York, became renowned for its luxurious glassware featuring 22-karat gold. To apply the gold patterns and textures the company used a secret, patented high-heat roll-on process. Culver's iconic designs, from from gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, Egyptian and Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns and holiday designs, were rose in popularity during the mid-20th century, and they've become highly desirable collectables today.
