Culver Paisley Ferris Wheel Set

Culver Glassware’s red and gold paisley pattern epitomizes mid-century barware, with richly colored and lavishly gilded designs. Glass barware like this was often displayed in striking metal racks, an iconic choice that added elegance to home bars. Among collectors, the rare "ferris wheel" metal holder is particularly prized, as it stylishly showcased each glass, and also featured an ice bucket. This piece is a difficult find today, giving you the opportunity to have not only a functional piece of art but a striking conversation starter.

About the Maker
Culver Glass Company, founded in 1939 by Irving Rothenberg in Brooklyn, New York, became renowned for its luxurious glassware featuring 22-karat gold. To apply the gold patterns and textures the company used a secret, patented high-heat roll-on process. Culver's iconic designs, from from gilded mushrooms, owls, cats, Egyptian and Asian inspired design themes, scrolling leaf patterns and holiday designs, were rose in popularity during the mid-20th century, and they've become highly desirable collectables today.
