Exploring the Sidecar Template

This Workshop is geared toward the Beginner Level of home cocktail enthusiasts. 

The Sidecar is a classic sour cocktail that perfectly balances a base spirit (cognac), citrus (lemon juice), and a sweetener (orange liqueur). This formula is a cornerstone of mixology, adaptable to a wide range of spirits and flavor profiles. Its structure defines the "sour" category of cocktails.

Workshop attendees will make the Sidecar, and then make 3 additional cocktails using the Sidecar Template. The educational experience will include understanding what it means to create balance between the sweet and sour notes of a citrus-based cocktail.

In the course of the evening, attendees will gain insights and hands-on experience with all aspects of making classic cocktails at home, from understanding the importance of quality ice, to proper cocktail shaker techniques.

By the end of the workshop attendees will confidently be able to buy essential ingredients and tools to begin making classic cocktails at home.

What's Included?

Each team of 2 attendees will be supplied with their own cocktail making workstation consisting of bar matt, jiggers, shakers, mixing spoons, mixing glass, spirits, bitters and citrus.

50% refund for cancellations the day of the event.
